About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop and support projects in the steelworks' process automation
- Participate in the transformation to green steel production (SALCOS®)
- Gather and analyze IT requirements for production processes, quality development and automation engineering together with the process teams
- Design system concepts and sub-functions of process computer/control systems
- Develop new and existing software for process models, AI, visualization and internal apps (documentation, simulations, etc.)
- Develop interfaces and data transfer processes
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a comparable field
- Knowledge of concept design, software design and software development (ideally C#, Python)
- Experience in deep learning, Kubernetes and Scrum is desirable
- Advanced knowledge of process models and process control systems (MES)
- Ability to identify complex, interconnected relationships
- Analytical and goal-oriented way of thinking and working
- Team player
- Flexibility and willingness to take initiative
