  • Electrical Protection Engineer responsible for programming and testing protection relays in electric utility and industrial sectors. Join GE Vernova for innovative projects in renewable energy solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for programming and testing of Protection relays
  • Designing protection solutions for the Electric Utility & Industrial markets
  • Work with project technical lead to ensure successful project execution
  • Ensure engineering tasks are completed to a high standard of quality in alignment with project time scales
  • Analyse customer specifications, write project technical documentation, and validate technical solutions with customers
  • Manage technical execution planning and ensure adherence to GE Vernova safety standards
  • Address technical deviations and manage fault reports

Requirements

  • BSc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience in protection and electrical design engineering
  • Strong knowledge of protection functions, configuration and testing, electrical scheme, and cubicle design
  • Proficient in designing and configuring protection relays and network studies
  • Preferred candidates will have proven knowledge in GE Vernova Substation Automation Solutions (Micom, Multilin etc.)
  • Ability to travel locally and globally, with a valid driver’s license
