About the role

  • Electrical Engineering Technical Lead at GE Vernova designing and implementing protection panel designs. Leading technical projects and ensuring the successful delivery from inception to site commissioning.

Responsibilities

  • Drive technical project activities, lead customer kick-off meetings, and ensure successful project execution from design to commissioning.
  • Participate in project risk reviews, manage project budgets in term of man-days allocated to the engineering tasks, and provide regular progress updates.
  • Analyse customer specifications, write project technical documentation, and validate technical solutions with customers.
  • Specify software and IEDs, manage technical execution planning, and ensure adherence to GE Vernova safety standards.
  • Address technical deviations, manage fault reports, and support site engineers remotely or on-site.
  • Lead Factory Acceptance Tests, Site Acceptance Tests, and coordinate with commissioning teams for major site milestones.
  • Provide project-specific training to customers, support tendering and commercial teams, and ensure customer satisfaction through professional project execution.

Requirements

  • BSc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience in protection and electrical design engineering
  • Strong knowledge of protection functions, electrical scheme, and cubicle design (Micom Multilin etc.)
  • Proficient in designing and configuring protection relays and network studies
  • Proven knowledge in GE Vernova Substation Automation Solutions
  • Ability to travel locally and globally, with a valid driver’s license.
