Responsibilities
Plan, develop, organize, and give oversight to Community and Family Services facilities and programs
Provide oversight and leadership to relevant programs and special events
Facilitate the development, implementation, and evaluation of a short-term and long-range strategic community relations plan
Direct the leadership and coordination of the volunteer program for local Community and Family Services
Prepare and submit reports, proposals, program evaluations, and/or business plans as requested to Senior Leaders
Ensure compliance with all Salvation Army policies, procedures, applicable federal and provincial legislation, and best practices
Requirements
Completion of a formal post-secondary/college/University program of three academic years in a related field
Current CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
Ability to provide or willingness to obtain a First Aid/CPR Certification and Non-violent Crisis Intervention and Prevention Certifications
Minimum of five (5) years of experience, including prior related team lead/supervisory experience
Experience working with children and youth and community and social services programs
Strong computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office Suite
