About the role
- Senior Director leading security engagement for Salesforce's Critical Incident Center. Focus on proactive security health, incident management, and executive-level security readiness.
Responsibilities
- build and lead a new, dedicated CIC security function
- work closely with the Salesforce CISO organization
- establish and scale the Strategic Security Engagement function
- lead initiatives that strengthen Salesforce’s position as a trusted security partner
- develop a security readiness framework
- provide actionable insights to product and engineering teams
- drive increased adoption of Salesforce security capabilities
- partner with Sales and Customer Success teams
- serve as the central point of coordination for customer security engagement
- develop security playbooks, enablement materials, and training programs
- establish measurable outcomes related to customer security experience and adoption
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise security
- strong background in security architecture, governance, risk, and compliance
- deep knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks (GDPR, NIS2, DORA, CCPA, HIPAA)
- demonstrated experience engaging at the CISO/CIO level
- experience with Salesforce security capabilities preferred (Shield, Platform Encryption, Event Monitoring, Security Center, Data Cloud)
- proven track record building and scaling customer-facing security programs in a SaaS or cloud environment
- strong cross-functional leadership skills and executive presence
- ability to influence across technical, business, and executive stakeholders
