About the role
- Senior Research Associate supporting design and analysis of quantitative research for diverse clients. Collaborating with researchers to provide insights and improve internal research processes.
Responsibilities
- The Senior Research Associate will work with a seasoned team of researchers to help provide insights and guidance to clients.
- The Senior Research Associate is responsible for supporting the design and analysis of quantitative research studies for clients across a wide variety of industries.
- With advice and oversight from senior team members, participate in survey design, questionnaire development, and preparation of reports.
- Support multiple research projects across different clients simultaneously, managing time and priorities effectively to meet deadlines.
- Test programmed surveys for quality, accuracy, and functionality, including logic, skip patterns, piping.
- Develop tab and banner plans in collaboration with senior team members and data processing partners to support effective analysis.
- Review draft tables and datasets for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with research objectives.
- Collaboration with project management, qualitative strategy, and analytics teams to keep projects running smoothly.
- Identification of key trends and patterns in the data.
- Create data visualizations, such as charts and graphs, to effectively communicate insights in a way that elevates our storytelling.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes, templates, and best practices related to research execution and reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years’ market research experience in a market research supplier firm
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of Google Slides, and SPSS a plus but not required
- Knowledge of quantitative research methods and practices, qualitative knowledge a plus
- Experience working with large datasets and reviewing tables for accuracy
- Familiarity with statistical concepts such as significance testing, weighting, and segmentation
- Expert written and oral communication
- Comfort working collaboratively within cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Demonstrates curiosity, critical thinking, and a desire to learn
- High level of autonomy and initiative; able to identify "what needs to happen next" and execute without waiting for direct supervision
