About the role

  • Senior Research Associate supporting design and analysis of quantitative research for diverse clients. Collaborating with researchers to provide insights and improve internal research processes.

Responsibilities

  • The Senior Research Associate will work with a seasoned team of researchers to help provide insights and guidance to clients.
  • The Senior Research Associate is responsible for supporting the design and analysis of quantitative research studies for clients across a wide variety of industries.
  • With advice and oversight from senior team members, participate in survey design, questionnaire development, and preparation of reports.
  • Support multiple research projects across different clients simultaneously, managing time and priorities effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Test programmed surveys for quality, accuracy, and functionality, including logic, skip patterns, piping.
  • Develop tab and banner plans in collaboration with senior team members and data processing partners to support effective analysis.
  • Review draft tables and datasets for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with research objectives.
  • Collaboration with project management, qualitative strategy, and analytics teams to keep projects running smoothly.
  • Identification of key trends and patterns in the data.
  • Create data visualizations, such as charts and graphs, to effectively communicate insights in a way that elevates our storytelling.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes, templates, and best practices related to research execution and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years’ market research experience in a market research supplier firm
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of Google Slides, and SPSS a plus but not required
  • Knowledge of quantitative research methods and practices, qualitative knowledge a plus
  • Experience working with large datasets and reviewing tables for accuracy
  • Familiarity with statistical concepts such as significance testing, weighting, and segmentation
  • Expert written and oral communication
  • Comfort working collaboratively within cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Demonstrates curiosity, critical thinking, and a desire to learn
  • High level of autonomy and initiative; able to identify "what needs to happen next" and execute without waiting for direct supervision
