About the role
- Research Specialist responsible for researching criminal records and ensuring compliance with FCRA standards for Validity. Collaborating closely with Quality Assurance team to maintain report quality.
Responsibilities
- Research numerous online websites for applicant information including County Court Records, State Court Records, Federal Court Records and various local, state and federal government databases
- Contact various sources for additional, required case information not located online
- Compile information from all research sources into standard format for entry into Validity’s systems
- Follow all local, state, and federal laws when reporting criminal and civil records
- Follow the Fair Credit Reporting Act and complete the Research Provider exam
- Work as an effective team member, liaising with others and contributing to the overall success of the Company
- Complete other duties as assigned
