About the role

  • Research Specialist responsible for researching criminal records and ensuring compliance with FCRA standards for Validity. Collaborating closely with Quality Assurance team to maintain report quality.

Responsibilities

  • Research numerous online websites for applicant information including County Court Records, State Court Records, Federal Court Records and various local, state and federal government databases
  • Contact various sources for additional, required case information not located online
  • Compile information from all research sources into standard format for entry into Validity’s systems
  • Follow all local, state, and federal laws when reporting criminal and civil records
  • Follow the Fair Credit Reporting Act and complete the Research Provider exam
  • Work as an effective team member, liaising with others and contributing to the overall success of the Company
  • Complete other duties as assigned
