About the role
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant guiding clients through implementations and integrations. Working in APAC region to optimize business processes.
Responsibilities
- Cover all aspects of consulting, including presales and supporting the sales team
- Provide expertise and in-depth knowledge of the D365 BC application
- Evaluate customers’ business processes against standard Microsoft Dynamics functionality
- Work collaboratively with customer stakeholders
- Document business requirements
- Perform fit-gap analysis and design and configure data migration strategies
- Collaborate, manage, and lead meetings with technical consultants and client/end users
- Provide onsite and offsite consulting services
- Proactively identify, analyse, and respond to issues and risks
- Foster teamwork and mentor and train consultants on best practices
- Design project schedules and set timelines
- Liaise with product vendors on any issues relevant to customers or the company’s services
- Manage end-to-end project coordination and take responsibility for successful project completion
- Keep up to date with new D365 features
- Demonstrate an ongoing commitment to continuous professional development.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Subject Matter Expert in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365 BC)
- Strong experience delivering large, complex technology projects
- Excellent knowledge of core D365 BC functionality
- Experience with setup, configuration, implementation, enhancements, integration, and testing of D365 BC solutions
- Experience designing and creating test scenarios, functional test cases, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Experience using Azure DevOps and other test management tools
- Strong requirements gathering skills
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Technology or an equivalent professional qualification
- Relevant Microsoft certifications are strongly preferred
- Project Management certification is highly desirable.
