Responsibilities
- Lead development across the stack — Architect, build, and ship high-quality code across our entire platform, setting the standard for technical excellence
- Design scalable, elegant solutions — Collaborate with Product to solve complex problems with simple, customer-centric features
- Own issue resolution — Triage, prioritize, and resolve system level issues while guiding others on best practices for quality and reliability
- Champion continuous improvement — Proactively identify opportunities to improve system performance, code health, and team efficiency
- Advocate for the user — Build with empathy and a deep understanding of customer needs, ensuring every solution adds meaningful value
- Mentor and elevate others — Share expertise, coach teammates, and help shape a culture of learning, growth, and technical rigor
Requirements
- 5+ years in a full-stack software development role with a track record of owning and delivering complex features or systems
- Degree in CS/EE
- Deep proficiency with Frontend (TypeScript, JavaScript, React), Backend (Node.js, Express.js, REST APIs), and Infrastructure (Relational databases, Git, AWS) systems and languages
- Ability to learn and adapt to best-in-class tools including but not limited to Linear, Cursor, and other rapidly advancing AI tools
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a proven ability to lead discussions, drive alignment, and mentor peers
- DevOps-related experience is a plus—skills that go beyond just writing code and own how that code runs in production.
- Desire to work in-person or hybrid from our beautiful downtown Austin office.
