Responsibilities
Utilizing strong mechanical hardware design experience and knowledge with ruggedized structures, interconnects, electronic modules, radome and array integration
Developing technical solutions to a wide range of complex problems related to the entire product life cycle including proposal, design, manufacture, integration and test of phase array radars/electronics for multiple military programs
Supervising the definitions of mechanical outline and construction details, component selection and specification, mechanical and assembly drawings, electrical/RF layout, and delivering the final technical data package
Support and participate in design peer reviews, closing action items, resolving issues, and conduct trade studies to make sound technical decisions
Work with limited supervision and meet commitments for assigned schedule, financial, and technical goals
Provide technical conscience, challenged with making sure the product and process meet appropriate standards and requirements
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure team members are aligned and aware of team goals and potential obstacles
Lead retrospectives to discuss what went well, what could be improved, and identify actionable improvements using methods within and beyond the Customer-Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE) system
Requirements
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
Minimum of 2 years designing and developing mechanical equipment, preferably for use in Military environments
Experience with phase array structures, hardware packaging, radome or array integration for military or mechanical or commercial applications
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
