Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Reliability and Safety Department, ensuring alignment with business unit goals and objectives.
Develop and implement reliability and safety strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Oversee the analysis and assessment of product reliability and safety, including failure modes, effects analysis (FMEA), fault tree analysis (FTA), and reliability block diagrams (RBD).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, quality, and customer support, to address reliability and safety issues and drive improvements.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of reliability and safety metrics, trends, and performance to senior management.
Manage department budget, resources, and staffing to meet project and business objectives.
Represent the department in internal and external audits, reviews, and customer meetings.
Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to reliability and safety.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in reliability and safety engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of reliability and safety engineering principles, methodologies, and tools.
Experience in the aerospace industry, particularly in Interiors and Advanced structures, is highly desirable.
Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
