About the role

  • Program leader for transformation initiatives at RTX, delivering strategic analysis and managing cross-functional teams to enhance corporate value. Involved in M&A and building strong interdepartmental relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic analysis that informs ES priorities, investment decisions, and long-term strategies.
  • Partner to frame complex problems, develop data-based recommendations and lead execution.
  • Build executive-ready materials that distill insights and drive alignment.
  • Manage and be accountable for cross-functional execution teams, ensuring clarity, alignment, and disciplined execution.
  • Identify optimization opportunities that accelerate ES service adoption and expansion to accelerate RTX value.
  • Lead transformation life cycle for service optimization, service expansion and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proactively evaluate program activities, build contingency plans, and execute corrective action on a timely basis to mitigate risks, including scope and budget variances.
  • Identify and manage interdependencies across multiple workstreams and strategic initiatives, driving efficiency, execution speed and increased value realization across the enterprise.
  • Manage quality measurements and monitoring mechanisms in place to ensure that deliverables meet or exceed expectations and integrate with overall program objectives.
  • Adheres to CORE and project management methodology by leveraging and promoting the use of existing tools, capturing best practices, and identifying areas for process improvement.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the company’s immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
  • Project and Program Management experience.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Prior experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy or transformation roles.
  • Prior work experience in Transformation solutions, including change management strategies
  • Master’s degree or equivalent graduate education Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to represent the organization to key stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple competing initiatives
  • Understanding of financial principles and budgeting.
