About the role
- Analyst role in materials planning and inventory management at Collins Aerospace. Contributing to master production schedule planning and reporting in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Will initiate master production schedule planning, expediting of material and mitigating risks for shortages.
- Owns inventory management and control.
- Executes continuous management of the master demand schedule to provide long range organizational effectiveness in support of internal and external capacity management and the SIOP process.
- Creates and maintains master data for all parts, sub-assemblies and other parts as required.
- Ensures that production builds are tracking to budget and analyzes data to understand trends and opportunities.
- Generates and may analyze reports pertaining to product line obsolescence to ensure sustainability and continuity.
- Compiles and may analyze reports documenting product line RoHS compliance and maintaining product line REACH compliance.
- May assist with inventory reporting and analysis as required.
- May assist with project tracking setup, cost transfers and financial reconciliation as required.
- May assist with logistics support functions including part classification as required.
Requirements
- Canadian citizenship is required.
- Successful candidate must be eligible to obtain a Government of Canada Secret Level Security Clearance and Controlled Good Access.
- Typically requires a University Degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
- Experience with an ERP system such as SAP is preferred.
- An engineering or an accounting background is preferred.
