Responsibilities
Will initiate master production schedule planning, expediting of material and mitigating risks for shortages.
Owns inventory management and control.
Executes continuous management of the master demand schedule to provide long range organizational effectiveness in support of internal and external capacity management and the SIOP process.
Creates and maintains master data for all parts, sub-assemblies and other parts as required.
Ensures that production builds are tracking to budget and analyzes data to understand trends and opportunities.
Generates and may analyze reports pertaining to product line obsolescence to ensure sustainability and continuity.
Compiles and may analyze reports documenting product line RoHS compliance and maintaining product line REACH compliance.
May assist with inventory reporting and analysis as required.
May assist with project tracking setup, cost transfers and financial reconciliation as required.
May assist with logistics support functions including part classification as required.
Requirements
Canadian citizenship is required.
Successful candidate must be eligible to obtain a Government of Canada Secret Level Security Clearance and Controlled Good Access.
Typically requires a University Degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
Experience with an ERP system such as SAP is preferred.
An engineering or an accounting background is preferred.
