About the role

  • Manager overseeing financial due diligence for clients in M&A within RSM's Transaction Advisory Services. Collaborating with seasoned professionals to support acquisition and divestiture decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Performs financial due diligence for clients who are acquiring and divesting businesses
  • Participates in client meetings and site visits while interacting with top-level management
  • Prepares detailed financial and analytical analyses to help clients evaluate their acquisition decisions
  • Uses various software tools as designated by the firm
  • Interacts with the other functional areas of the practice including tax, audit and other consulting practices

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree, ideally with a major in accounting or finance
  • Minimum of 4+ years experience, with 3+ years in audit or transaction advisory
  • Ability to travel up to 10-15% locally and nationally
  • A self-starter who is confident when interacting with clients, internal team members, and firm leadership
