About the role

• Integration Developer at RP Professional Services working on integrations for the Transportation Security Administration. Designing and maintaining reliable communications between TSA systems and applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement integration architectures, including point-to-point, hub-and-spoke, and enterprise service bus (ESB) models.
• Translate business needs into technical integration requirements by mapping data flows, data transformations, and system interactions.
• Build, consume, and maintain REST and SOAP APIs that enable secure, scalable system integrations.
• Develop and maintain data transformations while ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with TSA data governance standards.
• Analyze integration logs, identify issues, and troubleshoot system interaction or data exchange failures.
• Provide ongoing operational support, optimization, and enhancement of integrations as TSA requirements evolve.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration solutions align with enterprise architecture guidelines and security protocols.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support continuous improvement through documentation, testing, and feedback cycles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience with API development or systems integration.
• Proficiency in API design, programming, and documentation.
• Strong understanding of data quality, data lineage, and data privacy standards.
• Familiarity with cloud-based integration tools (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Logic Apps).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within technical teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TSA Public Trust (suitability) clearance.
• Ability to work for any U.S. employer without requiring sponsorship.
