About the role

  • Technical Sales Representative for Rovensa Next developing sales and technical solutions for major clients in South Morocco. Collaborating with local farmers and merchants to enhance product usage.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the company’s sales for the major clients and current and potential merchants.
  • Increase the number of major clients using Rovensa Next products and develop the usage of said products.
  • Visit company customers, analyze technical issues with providing and offering Rovensa Next technical solutions.
  • Develop the sales of the new products such as seaweed, Biimore and the products still under development.
  • Coordinate important events such as exhibitions, seminars and conferences
  • Participate in updating the market information on the crops and products.
  • Analyze the market, its strengths and evaluate competing products.
  • Assist and support experts and value-added programs such as leaves and soils analysis programs and organizing scientific excursions & experts.
  • Develop the contents of the technical offer, technical field recommendations, and provide technical support for both distributors and farmers.
  • Reporting daily/ weekly activity activities to direct manager
  • Collaborating of the technical information of communication materials
  • Support the updates of market database based on area/ crop
  • Support the after-sales, claim response
  • All above support within all MENA, West Africa and mainly the Moroccan market

Requirements

  • Ingeneer degree in Agricultural / Agronomy sciences or similar
  • At least 5 years’ experience in similar positions
  • Agronomic knowledge of nutrition, plant protection, biocontrol solutions
  • Knowledge of the market (keys customers and farmers) and the South- Morocco area
  • Demonstrated experience in sales and business development
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate commercial opportunities
  • Strategic thinking, entrepreneurial spirit and strong market orientation
  • Strong commercial skills, ability to convince and persuade
  • Experience in planning & forecasting (sales, net/ gross margin)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work towards objectives, results & customers oriented
  • Fluency in Arabic and French required
  • Advanced Intermediate level in English (B2 level)
  • Good proficiency in Microsoft office
