About the role
- DevOps Engineer at ROSE Bikes focusing on cloud infrastructure and collaborating with teams. Supporting optimization and integration of e-commerce applications and processes.
Responsibilities
- You support our cross-functional webshop teams with the integration of existing and new applications while actively sharing your in-depth expertise with your team members
- You ensure that our systems and services run smoothly from local development environments, through the CI/CD pipeline, to live operation
- You actively help shape and implement our short- and long-term cloud strategies
- Together with our service provider you are responsible for the continuous expansion of our monitoring and alerting system
- You actively develop our DevOps processes as well as tools and system architecture
- You will also occasionally work with our on‑premises infrastructure and support integration of hybrid system environments
Requirements
- At least a completed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification
- You have experience in the cloud and DevOps area and a deep understanding of the underlying concepts and technologies
- Familiarity with common e‑commerce technologies and architectures
- You are passionate about complex systems and problems and enjoy solving them as part of a team
- Initial experience with tools from the CNCF landscape is desirable
- You have in‑depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Terraform and Helm
- You are familiar with PHP and PHP applications
- You speak fluent German and English (C2 written and spoken)
