Responsibilities
- Support for investment and fundraising projects – from initial analysis through to successful closing
- Preparation of financial models, business plans and investor presentations to assess business models and investment opportunities
- Market, competitive and company analyses to identify trends and investment opportunities
- Preparation for and participation in client meetings, pitches and investor discussions
- Support in M&A transactions, including company valuation, due diligence and transaction structuring
- Preparation of decision papers and research reports for management and investors
- Ongoing monitoring of capital markets and relevant industry developments
Requirements
- University degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline
- Initial practical experience in investment banking, corporate finance, venture capital, private equity or consulting is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills and confident handling of financial models and common tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, and optionally PitchBook/CapitalIQ/Mergermarket/Crunchbase)
- Strong interest in entrepreneurship, capital markets and strategic corporate development
- Structured, precise and self-directed working style — including the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
