About the role

  • Auditing Assistant joining Rödl team for international audit projects. Supporting audit execution from planning to completion with global team interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in international audit projects, acting in accordance with the planning and task allocation
  • Execute end-to-end audit activities, from planning through completion of engagements
  • Contribute to the development and application of the audit approach, ensuring standardization and efficiency
  • Critically analyze information and identify audit risks, proposing appropriate responses
  • Prepare technical documentation, including audit reports and memoranda for the Group consolidation auditor
  • Work on audits with a focus on ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) topics
  • Take part in client kick-off and closing meetings, in alignment with the audit team
  • Maintain active communication with project stakeholders, including international teams, head office and the local team

Requirements

  • Degree in or currently studying accounting, economics or related fields
  • Experience in audit engagements, preferably for international groups
  • Experience with consolidation reporting (German GAAP/IFRS desirable)
  • Advanced English and/or German
