About the role

  • Quality Analyst responsible for manual and automated software testing. Validating system functionalities and ensuring high-quality user experiences in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform manual and automated testing to identify bugs or issues in system functionality.
  • Validate that the software meets established acceptance criteria and requirements.
  • Track and document test results and propose solutions for identified issues.
  • Develop testing strategies and test plans covering different scenarios.
  • Execute advanced testing, including functional and non-functional tests (performance, load, security) and exploratory testing.
  • Implement test automation.
  • Analyze results from automated and performance tests (JMeter).
  • Keep test script code version-controlled.
  • Actively participate in squads, supporting the definition of acceptance criteria and refinement of user stories.
  • Communicate discovered issues clearly and in an organized manner.
  • Ensure delivered software is free of critical defects that could impact the end-user experience.
  • Previous experience with e-commerce/marketplaces is a plus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in progress or completed in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Intermediate technical English.
  • ISTQB/BSTQB certifications are a plus.
  • Solid knowledge of software testing fundamentals.
  • Understanding of use cases and system requirements.
  • Experience with inspection/debugging tools (Chrome DevTools, Postman, etc.).
  • Ability to create testing strategies and test plans.
  • Familiarity with emulators and simulators for mobile testing (Android Studio).
  • Familiarity with APIs and HTTP requests (GET, POST, etc.).
  • Familiarity with SQL queries.
  • Knowledge of version control (Git).
  • Knowledge of programming languages for scripting and understanding application flows.
  • Test automation experience (Postman scripts, Selenium, Cypress, Maestro, etc.).
  • Ability to mentor and train junior analysts.
  • Log reading and analysis.
