About the role
- Procurement Delivery Lead managing sourcing and supplier strategies in the Digital & Tech sector for Roche. Collaborating with teams to enhance procurement capabilities and ensure stakeholder alignment.
Responsibilities
- Act as Delivery domain lead providing thought leadership, advice, and know-how on delivery capability topics.
- Oversee, improve, and drive delivery of sourcing, category and supplier related strategies, coaching team members.
- Advocate for content and automation development, aligning on and co-creating enhancements to delivery offerings.
- Collaborate within capability teams, networks, and project teams to ensure prioritization and focus on project and foundational work.
- Manage and be accountable for the performance of teams of Sr. Procurement Delivery Managers and related roles.
Requirements
- 15+ years experience within IT sourcing and procurement, particularly Infrastructure Hardware, Cloud Hosting, Telecommunications, Enterprise Software, and IT Services.
- University degree, preferably in business or life sciences.
- Experience in a matrix organization, with success in managing global medium to large teams (>10-15).
- Demonstrated experience in development and implementation of strategic sourcing in the mentioned subcategories.
- Demonstrated excellent leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and influencing skills.
- Deep expert knowledge and experience in the IT category area.
- Experience in project management, including change management and process improvement with direct experience in delivering complex projects.
- Business level fluency in English.
