Graduate Fire Engineer assisting in fire safety strategies and technical advice for building projects. Collaborating across teams to ensure safety regulations and codes are incorporated in designs.
Responsibilities
Assist in developing fire safety strategies and reports for new and existing buildings in accordance with UK regulations and international codes.
Conduct fire engineering calculations, including means of escape, smoke control, and structural fire protection.
Support the use of computational tools such as CFD and evacuation modelling software.
Contribute to fire risk assessments, audits, and site inspections.
Collaborate with internal multidisciplinary teams and external clients, architects, and building control bodies.
Keep up to date with changes in fire safety legislation and technical standards.
Participate in internal knowledge-sharing sessions and graduate development programs.
Requirements
A degree (or pending) in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Building Services, or a related STEM discipline
