Responsibilities
- Take on deep technical assignments that require dissecting, understanding, and working within complex software systems — web, mobile, and beyond.
- Each assignment is typically 6–24 months, and as a consultant you're expected to ramp up quickly and deliver value from day one.
- Analyze applications, maintain RE toolchains, and uncover how systems behave under the hood.
- Own your work end-to-end: from setting up and maintaining reverse engineering environments to writing tooling that helps the teams you work with move faster and smarter.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience.
- Hands-on experience with reverse engineering of web and/or mobile applications using interactive disassemblers such as HexRays IDA, Ghidra, or Hopper.
- Practical experience with dynamic instrumentation and injection tools, particularly Frida, for hooking, bypassing security controls, and runtime analysis.
- Strong skills in traffic interception and analysis using tools like Charles Proxy and Wireshark.
- Experience maintaining and troubleshooting iOS or web-based RE environments, including in jailbroken contexts (e.g., using palera1n or similar jailbreak toolchains).
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous, low-documentation environments where your curiosity drives progress.
- Based in Sweden: You must have Swedish citizenship, a valid work visa, temporary or permanent residency.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
