About the role

  • VP Finance responsible for corporate strategy and development at a family-owned food company. Collaborating with leadership to drive long-term financial value and growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Corporate Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to define and refine the company's corporate strategy.
  • Investment Opportunities: Evaluate new investment opportunities and business ventures.
  • Strategic Partnerships Financial Assessment: Develop and maintain strategic partnerships and alliances with external organizations, including government business development agencies and industry stakeholders.
  • Enterprise Growth Projects & Integration Strategy: Lead the strategic analysis, identification, and evaluation of potential enterprise-level growth initiatives.
  • Market & Industry Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify potential areas for growth, investment, or strategic expansion.
  • Financial Analysis & Modeling: Build financial models, including valuation models, to assess the viability and impact of potential enterprise corporate development opportunities.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various internal departments, including legal, operations, and marketing, to execute corporate development projects.
  • Risk Management: Assess and mitigate business and financial risks associated with corporate development activities.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with key internal and external stakeholders to keep them informed of corporate development activities and progress.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field (required).
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of international experience in corporate development, investment banking, management consulting, or related roles.
  • Category/Brand and Channel experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of strategy development, successful corporate strategy initiatives.
  • Strong financial and market analytical skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of corporate strategy and business operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial software.
