About the role

Responsibilities
- Provide key support in identifying, evaluating, and executing acquisitions, divestiture, and joint venture activities.
- Build financial valuation models using discounted cash flow, precedent transactions, trading comparables, and LBO methodologies.
- Perform key valuation metrics, including financial forecast, synergies, investment return metrics, and accretion/dilution analysis.
- Develop executive-level presentation materials to communicate the financial business case and educate Rich’s Senior Executives & Board Members regarding ongoing M&A opportunities and performance.
- Coordinate due diligence efforts and preliminary integration planning on potential acquisition opportunities.
- Support in leading internal functional diligence teams comprised of operational, HR, legal, and other subject matter experts.
- Support the company’s strategic planning efforts to identify growth priorities and develop acquisition pipeline.
- Critically thinking to evaluate strategic rationale for a potential acquisition, strategic fit, and how the target may create synergies with Rich’s existing capabilities.
- Perform analysis of competitor benchmarks and industry trends.
- Providing support for special projects (e.g., new industry research, strategic financial analysis, network optimization, new business initiatives, among others).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in Finance or Accounting role
- MBA, CPA, or progression towards CPA is preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience building presentations in Power Point
- Strong analytical skills, knowledge of finance and accounting (GAAP) principles
- Strong organization, project management, and communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate to senior leadership
- Familiarity with SAP and PowerBI is a plus
