About the role

  • Gerente Comercial leading the marketing and sales strategy for RHAMA CONSULTORIA AMBIENTAL LTDA, focusing on client relationship management and team leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the company’s commercial and marketing strategy, overseeing the implementation of sales initiatives, market analysis and project development to grow the client base and improve business profitability.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key clients and develop new contacts, identifying their needs to offer appropriate consultative solutions.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by managing customer service and monitoring the performance of delivered services.
  • Manage and lead the commercial team, supervising all departmental activities, including market analysis and new business prospecting, ensuring operational effectiveness and setting individual and team targets.
  • Monitor commercial performance by analyzing KPIs (key performance indicators) and adjusting strategies based on sales reports and market analyses.
  • Create and monitor comprehensive action plans for customer acquisition and retention, aiming for sustainable growth of the client base.
  • Establish strategic partnerships with other organizations, fostering collaborations that drive commercial growth.
  • Participate in defining pricing and margin policies together with the engineering and finance teams, ensuring company profitability.
  • Analyze competitors and adapt commercial strategies to ensure the company remains competitive in the market.
  • Manage and develop the commercial and marketing team by promoting training and capacity-building initiatives that enhance sales and negotiation skills.
  • Perform feasibility and financial return analyses for commercial projects, ensuring decisions are data-driven.
  • Report results and market trends to senior management, contributing to the formulation of long-term strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or related fields.
  • Solid experience in commercial/sales roles.
  • Proficiency in Consultative Selling.
  • Proficiency in market analysis and market intelligence.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems or similar platforms.
  • Strong sales and negotiation techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Project management skills and experience developing strategic plans.
  • Preferred:
  • Experience in the Engineering sector, preferably in Hydrology.
