About the role
- Financial Analyst evaluating financial and operational performance at Rexford Industrial Realty. Collaborating with various departments to support strategic decision-making in real estate investments.
Responsibilities
- Leads portions of the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes, including evaluating leasing assumptions, assessing portfolio performance trends and recommending forecast adjustments
- Analyze lease performance, rental rate trends, escalations, WALT, occupancy metrics, NOI drivers and capital expenditure impacts
- Exercise independent judgment in reviewing leasing and operational inputs within Yardi and financial models to ensure alignment with company strategy and financial objectives
- Evaluate financial results against budget and prior forecasts, investigate material variances and provide written and verbal analysis to management
- Develop, enhance and maintain financial and operational models used for scenario analysis and multi-year financial planning
- Prepare executive-level reporting materials and present insights to management
- Contribute to the development and refinement of financial controls, reporting processes and forecasting methodologies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant real estate experience
- Yardi or real estate accounting systems experience preferred
- Strong Excel skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work with large datasets with the ability to meet recurring deadlines in a structured, process‑driven environment
- Interest in real estate and public company / REIT reporting
- Must be located in Southern California.
