Responsibilities
Prepare standard insurance documents using templates and underwriter guidelines.
Enter and update data in Guidewire and other systems.
Organize and maintain digital underwriting files.
Respond to routine broker inquiries and escalate more complex cases.
Assist in gathering underwriting information for submissions.
Support compliance efforts by ensuring documentation accuracy.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience in the insurance industry
Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Bilingualism (English/French) to support underwriters and brokers across Canada, spoken and written, is an asset
Flexibility to work Pacific Time hours
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize effectively
Adaptability and a proactive approach
Ability to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility
