Underwriting Analyst responsible for credit assessment and loan structuring for small business loans at Enova International. Utilizing technology and analytics to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
Responsibilities
Underwrite small business loan applications and account reviews by combining your commercial lending experience and Enova’s sophisticated technology and analytics solutions
Evaluate credit worthiness by preparing underwriting documentation and present approvals and appropriate loan structure to underwriting leadership
Analyze application data including tax returns, financial statements, bank statements, as well as business and personal credit reports
Adhere to all applicable lending policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance
Meet key performance indicators to ensure the effectiveness and quality of the team and processes
Evaluate and provide recommendations for policy exceptions
Requirements
Undergraduate degree in finance, business or related field
0-1 years of commercial lending, credit, or similar processing experience
Strong basic math and data entry skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workflows
Excellent oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated commitment to delivering high quality and effective customer service experiences
Ability to exercise sound, professional judgment with independent decision making and a high level of discretion.
Demonstrated experience in working with broad cross-functional teams.
Detail oriented, logical, and methodological approach to problem solving.
