Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize accounting and financial processes
- Identify compliance risks and implement appropriate controls
- Lead financial process automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency
- Support new acquisitions in their migration to the parent company's ERP and implement financial best practices
- Coordinate and contribute to financial audits in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
- Support the accounting team in operational activities and ad hoc projects.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar role, including audit, compliance, and financial process transformation
- University degree in finance, accounting, audit, or a related field
- Professional designation (CPA or other relevant certification) considered an asset
- Bilingual (French and English) required to collaborate with stakeholders across Canada
- Experience managing automation and digital transformation projects in a financial environment
- Pragmatic, agile, and proactive approach
