Responsibilities
- Independently manage projects of medium to large scale that are significant in scope
- Ensure projects remain on time/within budget, certifying project goals and success markers are met
- Collaborate with project teams, functional owners, and project sponsors to achieve specific business outcomes
- Define, develop, and manage overall project plans
- Manage risk throughout the project lifecycle and deliver risk mitigation plans
- Guide teams through project structuring, problem definition, issue identification, and resolution development
- Draft project ready project deliverables with minimal review
- Apply project management tools to successfully manage projects
- Maintain ownership of timelines and deliverables during all phases of a project
- Identify, engage, and partner with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve project outcomes
- Manage technology projects related to network upgrades, hardware installations, software and app development, data management and large scale system replacements
- Provide project and departmental status reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or related degree
- Four (4) years of project management experience
- Banking or financial services experience (preferred)
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- Project Management Institute-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred)
- Ability to create and deliver influential large-scale project communications
- Deep understanding of project management methodologies and best practices
- Relevant work experience in technology with a broad understanding across multiple IT disciplines
- Familiarity with the Kanban approach, utilizing Jira and Confluence toolsets
- Expertise with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
