About the role
- SAP Consultant for Utilities developing digital transformation strategies for energy companies. Leading complex projects while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders in the transition to SAP S/4HANA.
Responsibilities
- Develop strategies for the digital transformation of energy utilities with a focus on S/4HANA Utilities Core
- Take responsibility in complex transformation projects – as a project team member or (sub-)project manager
- Analyze existing processes along the meter-to-cash process chain and design future-proof solutions based on SAP and non‑SAP systems
- Contribute to strategic topics related to S/4HANA, market communication and IT architecture
- Develop practical solutions for digitization and automation for the Sales market role in the electricity and gas sectors
- Further develop platform priorities, in particular for the cloud operation of SAP market communication and S/4 Utilities Core
Requirements
- Solid professional experience with SAP for Utilities, particularly billing, invoicing, EEG billing or market communication
- Detailed knowledge of an energy supplier’s business processes along the meter-to-cash (M2C) process chain
- Experience in preparing functional specifications and in the operational implementation of process design
- Experience in leading or coordinating (sub-)projects
- Analytical, strategic and solution-oriented working style
- Team player with strong communication skills and ability to work successfully remotely
- Very good written and spoken German (C1)
