About the role
- DevOps Engineer focused on building and releasing Red Hat OpenShift AI products. Involves CI/CD implementation and mentoring junior members in a hybrid work setting.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines that allow faster, more secure, reliable and frequent releases
- Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes to improve and minimize the wastage
- Coordination and communication with various stakeholders, reaching across functional borders
- Mentoring and guiding the junior team members
- Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
- Constantly learn new things and maintain an overview of current technologies
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Automation and modern Software Deployment practices
- Solid troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Jenkins, Git, Maven, shell scripting, and related technologies monitoring and automation
- Experience with Kubernetes/Openshift
- Experience with Agile methodology
- Experience with Cloud Computing using at least one of the following Cloud infrastructures AWS, GCP, Azure & IBM Cloud
- Ability to interact comfortably with the other members of a large, geographically dispersed team
- Experience maintaining an infrastructure and ensuring stability while adding new features
- Ability to clearly articulate design and implementation choices
- Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools
- Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
- Experience with building and deploying large scale applications and services
- Experience with programming in Golang and or Python is a plus
- Experience with open-source development is a plus
- Knowledge of the AI and machine learning landscape, including open source communities, GPUs and software vendors
- Experience building or using AI products.
- Experience with Red Hat OpenShift AI or OpenDataHub (ODH) or other projects/products: Databricks Data, Vertex AI, Anaconda, Pachyderm, Amazon SageMaker
