Responsibilities
Contribute to the operation of our AWS/EKS platform (e.g., tickets/incidents, small improvements, documentation/runbooks)
Support Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/OpenTofu): implement small changes, apply review feedback, understand and extend modules/standards
Contribute to deployments to EKS (Helm/Helmfile): maintain values/overlays, assist with releases, learn troubleshooting
Assist with observability: maintain dashboards, improve alerts, help develop initial SLI/SLO ideas
Work on security/compliance topics (ISO 27001 readiness): make traceable changes, prepare evidence/checks, perform access reviews according to process
Support Windows/Entra ID topics within the team (optional)
Requirements
Basic understanding of Linux, networking fundamentals, and how systems can fail in production
Some experience with Git and CI/CD (e.g., GitLab) or strong motivation to learn quickly
Interest in cloud/platform topics and enjoyment of structured troubleshooting
Good communication skills and willingness to document work and ask questions
First exposure to AWS and/or Kubernetes (EKS) — including from university projects or a home lab (nice to have)
Basic knowledge of Terraform/OpenTofu, Helm, Prometheus/Grafana, Ansible (basics are sufficient) (nice to have)
Interest in security/compliance (least privilege, audits, backups) (nice to have)
