About the role

  • Director of Sales for a leading international pharmaceutical company. Developing sales strategies and managing sales team performance across the market.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and optimize sales strategies to help the sales team achieve national targets for sales, market share and profitability.
  • Define and monitor business plan performance targets for sales representatives.
  • Proactively track the sales team's performance to anticipate and organize any necessary replacements.
  • Provide line management for sales representatives.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department and senior management and support them in achieving the company’s overall objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience managing sales within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven track record of leading a sales team to meet targets in a specialized therapeutic area.
  • Strong knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) systems and sales analytics.
