About the role

  • Project Engineer overseeing facility upgrades and new builds at Reckitt. Ensuring timely delivery and operational readiness while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and risk management plans for facility upgrades, expansions, and new builds
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure designs meet operational, safety, and compliance requirements
  • Lead the development of a Facility Readiness plan to Support startup activities including commissioning and integration into SOP, PM, and QMS frameworks
  • Develop facilities turnover plan for the Wilson facility operations team, coordinating CQ system completion and closeout
  • Lead the development of a Reliability plan for project Asset installation and turnover, including maintenance plans, spare parts philosophy, calibration plans, asset registry plan and data entry into site CMMS
  • Serve as the primary liaison between engineering, facility operations, and maintenance including shutdown coordination and system turnover readiness
  • Responsible to collaborate with and include the Vertical Start Up (VSU) leader actions and deliverables defined during design and construction to ensure successful turnover
  • Ensure all projects adhere to relevant codes, standards, and environmental regulations
  • Identify opportunities to enhance facility performance, energy efficiency, and operational workflows

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering (or related field)
  • 3–7 years of experience in project engineering, facilities management, or industrial operations
  • Proven track record in delivering capital projects from concept to operational handover
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, utilities, and commissioning processes
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and CAD software
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, healthcare, or mission-critical facilities
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or PMP certification
