Senior Data Analyst modernizing RealSelf’s data infrastructure and driving data-driven decision making. Collaborating across teams to provide actionable insights from complex data for business growth.
Responsibilities
Evaluate our data stack, propose a strategic path to elevate it, and drive those improvements
Extract, transform, and analyze large data sets (consumer behavior, provider listings, campaign performance) using SQL, BigQuery, Looker, and Dbt
Create reliable, flexible dashboards and reports for leadership and teams to track KPIs, identifying risks and opportunities, zeroing in on newsworthy trends, and communicating the value of RealSelf to customers and partners
Run analyses and shape measurement frameworks that help our business scale with clarity and customer-first intelligence
Synthesize complex data into cohesive narratives and visual stories that support business decisions
Collaborate cross‐functionally with Partnerships, Marketing, Product, and Data Engineering
Maintain data quality, documentation, and analytics best practices
Ensure our metrics models and pipelines are well-maintained by Data Engineering
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Data Science or related field
4+ years experience in a data analyst role (preferably consumer digital, marketplace, or health industry)
Strong SQL skills, experience with BI tools (Looker/Tableau/Steep), and familiarity with Dbt or similar data development/governance tools
Experience with restructuring data stacks and managing large-scale data migrations
Familiarity with AI tools that improve analytics velocity, without compromising quality
Ability to thrive in an agile, fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills of data insights to non-technical stakeholders
Highly organized with a strong attention to detail; comfortable managing multiple priorities at once
Experience with building high-performing, lean data teams and managing or mentoring more junior analytics
