About the role

  • Trauma Research Data Analyst assisting trauma healthcare professionals with clinical research studies. Preparing study protocols and monitoring study progress to improve care delivery and outcomes for trauma patients.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with trauma healthcare professionals to assist, develop and conduct clinical research studies
  • Prepare study protocols, study budgets, regulatory documentation, grant applications, and manuscript development
  • Collect, retrieve and maintain data to address study questions and evaluate study findings
  • Monitor study progress and resource utilization to ensure compliance with study protocol and regulations
  • Conduct interviews with patients or their caregivers for potential observational studies
  • Assist Research Manager in PubMed literature search and present findings

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology or any Health Sciences
  • Master’s degree in Data-Health Science, Health Outcomes Public Health or related field, preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in collecting and analyzing data
  • Statistical and Publication experience, preferred
  • Knowledge of healthcare, documentation, electronic medical health records, registry, health sciences clinical research, electronic medical health records and records management
  • Strong computer skills especially in the utilization of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
