About the role

  • Integration Engineer supporting clients with their integrations to optimize fraud detection systems at Ravelin. Collaborating with internal teams to ensure the best client experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with our clients to guide them through the integration process from start to finish, understand their payment flows, and highlight relevant product features.
  • Proactively carry out regular data quality checks and data wrangling throughout the integration process.
  • Stay ahead in client communications to manage expectations.
  • Collaborate with our Data Scientists, Data Engineering and Product teams to decide on the most appropriate approach for the client, based on what the client is trying to achieve.
  • Be a problem solver - getting a client integration across the line often requires getting two very different systems to work with each other.
  • Document the working methods and specific integration details for each client in order to share knowledge internally.
  • Build a deep understanding of Ravelin's products and systems

Requirements

  • Solid data analysis skills, especially familiarity with BigQuery/SQL.
  • Being able to confidently interact with RESTful APIs, and experienced in explaining best practice usage to clients.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with our clients, and within different parts of Ravelin, and to break down difficult concepts into easy language.
  • Detail-oriented and tenacious to ensure the accuracy of the data that clients share with us.
  • Self-motivated with high dependability.
  • General understanding of web and server technologies, including HTTP and JSON.
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Experience with SDKs.
