Responsibilities
Performs administrative tasks to support (commercial) legal activities, including scheduling meetings and the preparation of basic legal documents and correspondence.
Assists with preparing negotiations and closing transactions.
May assists in research and communication of compliance implications of new developments.
Conducts preliminary legal research and analysis on various issues as directed by senior colleagues, summarizing legal data and findings for review.
Provides logistical and administrative support for legal disputes, litigation or regulatory proceedings including compliance.
Provides support in the drafting, reviewing and management of (commercial) contracts under the guidance of senior legal professionals.
Participates in internal and external meetings as necessary, providing administrative support and preparing meeting notes.
Assists in the preparation and formatting of legal documents, correspondence and reports, ensuring they comply with organizational templates and guidelines.
May assists in investigations and assessments to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
Requirements
Requires basic conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within a discipline.
Performs assignments using existing procedures.
Receives guidance and direction from more senior level roles/manager within the discipline.
Contributions are usually limited to task-related activities; works within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
