About the role

  • OCS Engineer managing Overhead Contact System scope from design through construction. Overseeing subcontractors and ensuring compliance with project timelines and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • manage OCS scope, design, procurement, installation, and testing
  • oversee OCS subcontractors, billings, change proposals
  • support Construction Managers with installation plans, drawings, and QA/QC compliance
  • ensure timely procurement and delivery of OCS and Traction Power equipment
  • manage testing, commissioning, and integrated systems testing
  • maintain strong relationships with owners, contractors, and subcontractors
  • promote team discipline, morale, and collaboration

Requirements

  • 5–10 years’ experience in rail projects
  • Signal/Train Control experience required
  • Electrical PE preferred
  • knowledge of current electrical codes and standards
  • thorough understanding of Signal/Train Control systems used in transit
  • proficient in Microsoft Office
  • CADD experience preferred
  • strong communication skills
