About the role

  • Quantitative Analytics Analyst developing and maintaining analytical frameworks to support Pricing, FP&A, and Portfolio Management at Radian. Analyzing and processing loan level data sets locally and in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Python based analytical frameworks and data models
  • Analyze and process loan level data sets locally and in cloud based platforms (AWS/Azure)
  • Perform data exploration and analysis on structured and unstructured data sets
  • Create and present clear analytical presentations to senior management
  • Maintain accurate version control and documentation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • 2 or more years of prior work-related experience
  • Bachelor's Degree - Risk Management, Finance, Computer Science or Mathematics
  • High proficiency in analysis and modeling
  • Background in financial concepts and metrics
  • Knowledge of mortgage and insurance related concepts
  • 2-3 years of experience within an analytical group
  • Experience in data analysis using scripting languages (Python, SQL, or R)
  • Strong work ethic and independent problem-solving capabilities
