Responsibilities
Responsible for HR and finance topics in a growing startup
Build and further develop simple, scalable HR and finance structures
Budget planning, cash flow monitoring and ongoing cost and liquidity management
Prepare reports, forecasts and decision-making materials for management
Operational execution of recruiting, onboarding, personnel administration and payroll
Collaborate with tax advisor, payroll provider and external partners
Point of contact for the team on all HR and administrative matters and maintenance of the HR tool
Support growth (hiring, processes, culture)
Requirements
Degree in Business Administration, Finance or a comparable vocational qualification with relevant professional experience
At least 5 years of practical experience, primarily in finance, controlling or operations — ideally in a startup or SME environment
Several additional years of hands-on HR experience, having managed both areas in a comparable, responsible role
Solid understanding of labor law, payroll and basic finance
Enjoys hands-on work and building things from the ground up
Structured, pragmatic and independent working style
Entrepreneurial mindset, high trustworthiness and discretion
Strong communication skills in German and English
