About the role

  • Chargé de communication digitale dans la Communauté d’agglomération Quimperlé. Élaboration de stratégies de communication et gestion des contenus numériques.

Responsibilities

  • Under the authority of the Communications Director, the Digital Communications Officer designs and implements communication activities
  • Writes, formats and prepares information for distribution
  • Manage and engage social media communities
  • Create and manage digital content
  • Plan and execute digital communication campaigns
  • Coordinate and support departments in producing content for the local authority's delegated social media accounts
  • Digital monitoring (trend and reputation monitoring)
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the communication strategy

Requirements

  • Excellent command of social media platforms and their features
  • Excellent command of CMS tools (WordPress, ...)
  • Strong web writing skills and knowledge of SEO best practices and accessibility
  • Excellent proficiency with smartphones and cameras for content creation
  • Proficient in graphic design and video editing tools (Photoshop, Canva, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, ...)
  • Knowledge of analytics and reporting tools (Meta Suite, Google Analytics, Matomo, ...)
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with the macOS environment
