About the role

• Senior Manager overseeing S/4HANA architecture for Alpargatas. Leading technical teams in a global corporate environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Global S/4HANA COE technically, ensuring standardization and continuous evolution of the SAP ecosystem.
• Align the systems team with Corporate Architecture, applying and maintaining technology standards from DEV to PRD.
• Collaborate with IT Operations and CyberSec to ensure performance, sizing and technical compliance.
• Act as the technical partner for projects and new initiatives, providing architecture expertise and technological integrity.
• Serve as a core member of systems squads with a focus on cross-technology technical expertise (SAP, middleware, cloud, data).
• Conduct technical reviews and ensure all SAP solutions adhere to global standards.
• Support leaders and project teams in adopting new solutions and technologies (SAP and non-SAP).
• Mentor technical teams, promoting excellence and the dissemination of best practices within the Global COE.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related fields.
• 10+ years of experience in SAP architecture, with a focus on S/4HANA and BTP.
• Fluent English (required); Spanish desirable.
• Experience with SAP/non‑SAP integrations (CPI/APIs), Fiori/UI5 and cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of enterprise data (Data Lake, ETL).
• Experience with global S/4HANA rollouts and migrations.
• Experience with IT Operations and security (sizing, performance tuning, hardening, compliance).
• Postgraduate degree or MBA in IT Management, Solutions Architecture or similar (a plus).
• SAP certifications (S/4HANA, BTP), TOGAF and/or Cloud Architecture certifications valued.
