Responsibilities
Overall technical responsibility for development projects in the field of electrolyzers
Achieve technical product and project objectives while complying with quality, schedule and budget
Manage the technical development team and coordinate internal and external development partners
Develop system architectures and technical concepts for new product generations
Support requirements analysis and take responsibility for technical product specifications
Identify technical and organizational risks and develop suitable mitigation strategies
Present project status, risks and decisions to top management and stakeholders
Work closely with adjacent functions such as production, procurement, testing and certification
Requirements
Degree in Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering or a comparable technical field
Several years' experience in product development of complex plant systems—ideally in hydrogen technology or renewable energies
Solid knowledge of the product development process and requirements-based systems development (Requirements Engineering, Systems Engineering)
Proven experience in technical project management and leading interdisciplinary development teams
Knowledge of green hydrogen (e.g., production, storage, transport) or related technologies such as Power-to-X or fuel cells
Ideally experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and tools such as IBM DOORS or Polarion
Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken
