Travel Consultant providing high quality customer service for Queensland Rail across the long-distance rail network. Supporting reservations, ticketing, and customer interactions with a friendly approach.
Responsibilities
Provide accurate travel advice and complete reservations and ticketing for rail, third party and corporate travel.
Process payments efficiently and ensure every interaction meets our quality assurance standards.
Drive revenue by up selling travel products and encouraging return business.
Maintain strong product and industry knowledge through ongoing training and familiarisation activities.
Build positive relationships and maximise goodwill with both internal and external customers.
Support Queensland Rail Travel operations by following all policies, procedures and safety requirements.
Contribute to a collaborative Customer Contact team and assist with additional duties when required.
Requirements

Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Intermediate computer and Microsoft Office skills e.g. Microsoft Office Suite.
Previous experience using travel booking systems would be highly regarded but not essential.
Previous tourism experience is desirable but not essential.
Benefits
Starting base salary $85,757 (pro rata) / approximately $43 per hour + 12.75% super + any applicable penalties
