About the role
- Software Engineer at QualityLogic supporting the development of test systems for smart inverters and EV infrastructure. Involves designing equipment automation control and providing customer support for lab equipment.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and development of equipment automation control by using SCPI programming language using C++.
- Create well designed C++ implementation that is modular, robust and optimized.
- Provide excellent customer support related to lab equipment control and automation.
Requirements
- Must have at least a BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent major.
- 1-3 years of experience in development of lab equipment control and automation using SCPI.
- Experience in the IEEE 1547 standards or similar grid standards a major plus.
- Experience with Ametek, Keysight, Pacific Power, ITech or other grid simulator products a major plus.
- Competent in C++ language.
