About the role
- Sr Engineer, Test Development designing automated DC and RF test solutions for semiconductor manufacturing. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve test efficiency and support engineering projects.
Responsibilities
- Design and integrate software and hardware for automated DC and RF test solutions
- Develop applications on various test platforms
- Improve test efficiency including multi-site expansion and tester platform migrations
- Support engineering test projects, design verification testing, and qualification testing
- Generate and maintain documents related to test systems and software designs
- Create test plans, procedures, and reports
- Support design verification testing and test program buyoff activities in lab & manufacturing sites
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering
- 5 or more years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing and test product development
- Software development and debug experience, preferably on ATE Teradyne and Cohu platform
- Familiar with C/C++/Visual Basic (VBA)
- Experience in test equipment like RF sources, pulse generators, spectrum analyzers
- Knowledgeable in RF Test including s-parameters, noise figure, power, pulsed power, TOI, and harmonics
- Experience in schematic design and PCB layout
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite
- Statistical engineering data analysis and DOE skill set
- Strong ownership with self-motivation and engineering attitude
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
