About the role
- Junior Fullstack Engineer assisting in the development and maintenance of fullstack applications in Ho Chi Minh City. Join our Agile team to learn and grow with cutting-edge technologies.
Responsibilities
- Assist in building fullstack applications using Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Next.js.
- Develop and maintain basic REST APIs to support application functionality.
- Support feature development, including coding, testing, and debugging.
- Participate in the deployment process, ensuring smooth and efficient releases.
- Collaborate with the team in an Agile environment, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Learn and support Docker/Kubernetes deployments, gaining experience with containerization and orchestration technologies.
- Contribute to code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, working collaboratively with the team to find solutions.
- Document code and technical processes to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 6 months – 2 years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Basic experience with Node.js, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, and Next.js.
- Understanding of web fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with database concepts and SQL.
- Familiarity with Git and basic CI/CD practices (GitHub Actions is a plus).
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and take on challenging tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good English reading and writing skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work at night shift: 3am - 12pm.
